In addition to the reporting of standard metrics, Advisor provides the following performance analyses for Oracle databases:

• Buffer Cache Hit ratio compared with thresholds
• Proportion of time when Buffer Cache Hit ratio is less than good
• Logical I/O activity pattern, and the extent of its variability over the analysis period
• Identification of busiest individual sessions and classes of sessions
• Physical I/O activity compared with thresholds
• Proportion of time when physical I/O rate is too high
• Analysis of busiest database files in terms of physical I/O rate
• Identification of sessions performing excessive long table scans
• Numbers of Oracle users logged on, and how variable this is over the analysis period.
