Delivered as an accessory to Athene for Windows, Athene RTM for Windows is an application that allows you to connect to a single data source, or target machine on your network from which you want to collect performance information, and monitor one or more Windows Performance Objects on the machine on a second by second basis
Performance Objects, such as processors, memory, cache, threads and processes, each have an associated set of Counters that provide information about device usage, queue lengths, delays, and other information used to measure throughput and internal congestion.
Using Athene RTM, you can configure and save a custom set of performance object Counters and a single Connection to a Data Source in a configuration file that also stores the data collection interval. Monitored data can also be saved in log files. You may also collect performance data from multiple target machines by running separate instances of Athene RTM.
Each Counter can be displayed in a user configurable Counter Graph in a pop-up window on the user's workstation. Counter Graphs displaying up to the last 200 measurements can be viewed in a collapsed or expanded state. |
