Using performance monitoring tools and additional information feeds our consultants will build a baseline model of your existing datacenter to determine the current usage at the facilities and infrastructure levels.
Using this baseline and our extensive experience in the field of Capacity and performance management we can make recommendations on how this resource can be optimized through server consolidation to meet the business drivers, be it reduced operational costs, a reduced carbon footprint or accurately planning the virtualization requirements for a Private Cloud.

Scope and Pricing
  • Price on application and dependent on scope
  • This service will be delivered by Metron’s uniquely skilled consultancy team and consist of a mixture of both on-site and off-site delivery
Requirements and Inputs
  • Access to the relevant support and infrastructure personnel
  • Provision of the appropriate infrastructure and facilities documentation, including:
    • Server and network specifications, rack/chassis/cabinet specifications, air conditioning and power delivery specifications
    • Current operational costs incurred e.g. facility expenditure, maintenance expenditure etc
  • Technical business drivers e.g. preferred vendors, platforms etc
  • Access to performance data generated by incumbent tool or sufficient access/support to install Metron’s athene® software and agents
