Athene Training
Metron supports its products with consultancy and training services. Frequent use of our software by our own consultants in a wide variety of environments also directly benefits the research and development process. All our consultants are involved in product design, specification, Quality Assurance and training. Metron provides training at our customers' sites or via scheduled courses open to all our users. These courses give training in system administration and Performance Management, Capacity Planning, and in the detailed use of Athene.

Athene Capacity Planning Training
Our Athene Capacity Planning training course takes place over two days. Statistical Analysis, Queuing Theory and the majority of the Modeling material is presented on day one. The remainder of the Modeling material, and Advanced Capacity Planning, is presented on day two. Following the Advanced Capacity Planning tutorial, you will be asked to work as a team, to analyse a set of real performance data and create models to address a specific set of requirements. You will also be asked to produce a short presentation on your findings.

ITIL® Foundation Course (Only available in the US)
The 3 day ITIL® Foundation Course is based on principles described in ITIL®’s Service Support and Service Delivery books. The course provides a detailed, modular introduction to the concepts, terms, definitions, benefits, objectives, and relationships within core IT service management processes and functions, according to the ITIL® best practice framework. The course will prepare the participant for the one-hour multiple-choice examination paper which leads to the Foundation Certificate In IT Service Management.

ITIL® Practitioner Certificate in Capacity Management
Those wishing to broaden their ITIL® IT Service Management experience and those with full or part-time hands-on responsibility for planning, implementing and/or running a Capacity Management function. It will be equally useful for those already in this role desiring a formal understanding, or those who are about to enter a Capacity Management role and need training in how to perform.
The course is intensive, highly practical and interactive.

The course includes assignments based on real life examples and practices. Limited course sizes provide for close supervision and tuition. For those who wish to take it, the course culminates in the ISEB examination leading to a Practitioner’s Certificate in Capacity Management.

On-Line Training Course
On-Line Training offers a cost effective and practical alternative to traditional training courses and Computer Based Training (CBT). On-Line training overcomes many of these limitations with traditional training and CBT. Courses are short, sharp highly focused modules meaning less disruption to normal work routines. Outlay on training can be focused on specific modules of direct relevance to individuals. There is no time out of the office and no ancillary costs such as accommodation, making On-Line Training highly cost effective. Courses are delivered live over the web with an accompanying teleconference, meaning you can interact with the lecturer and other delegates as if you were in a classroom.
