This session will cover an introduction of ITIL, IT Service Management (ITSM) and an overview of the Capacity Management process. Also covered will be the three Capacity Management sub-processes along with an overview of the activities of Capacity Management. |

The whats, whys, and therefores – This session will cover the activities of Capacity Management, including Demand Management, Application Sizing, Modeling, and generating the Capacity Plan. We’ll conclude with a look at benefits, costs, and risks of Capacity Management. |

So where do we go from here? – This session looks at the planning and implementation of ITIL Capacity Management as well as process review and improvement. We’ll wrap up with a discussion of the interfaces with other ITIL SM processes and look at dependencies between Capacity Management and other processes. |
